Shenmue 3, I don't know....they just up and left a good storyline? I can't belive that.

Other games I'm really looking forward to...

The Force Unleashed.. Looks like an awesome game with lots of potential. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 3/MMORPG.. Whichever they decide to do.. both would be nice, even.

BioShock, Fallout 3, Prototype, Stuntman: Ignition, Team Fortress 2, Half Life 2: Episode 2, Portal, Silent Hill 5, GTA4, Metal Gear Solid 4.

yeah it's worth it if you are interested in the game. the demo is basically about the first hour of the game (maybe a little less depending on how much time you stand around just looking a the visuals). it basically just showcases how the plasmids and gameplay work and some of the early story. steam has it and it takes about an hour to get it down. probably less now that the game is released.

Even just looking at games that are out now that I haven't played yet or are coming out only in the next couple months I'm really looking forward to:

Bioshock
Mass Effect
Halo 3
Stranglehold (I told myself no more demos but stupidly tried this one and it was lots of fun -- damnit)
Eternal Sonota
Two Worlds
The Darkness
Overlord
Call of Duty 4
Guitar Hero III

Now, given that I work 8+ hrs/day and put a good 10 hours a week into Gears, finding the time (much less the money) for all those games seems nearly impossible. I just sold off Madden and will probably sell off NCAA as I'm just not going to have time for them (and needed the money to put towards the others).

That's not counting the start of next year with Fallout 3, GTA4 and some good Wii games (Smash Bros, Mario Galaxy, Mario Kart Wii) finally hitting the table.

I honestly can't remember a time where there were ever this many games I desperately wanted to play coming out.

yeah there's just something immensely satisfying about shooting someone with a fistful of lightning and then braining them with a monkey wrench while they fry.
