Are you sure you tried to search, well, did you? Not as much turn out as this one
I played the trombone back in high school. I still have it sitting around somewhere but haven't played it in years.
I'll be damned dream - I missed that one for sure but it didn't come up in any of my searches. I bow to the search master...and I certainly need to improve my searching ability!

Kind of wish we would have just made it work. He is an amazing guitarist, but I don't believe he's ever played a party or show. Just loves to play. Yeah, I don't know why you'd spend that kind of money on a guitar if you're not going to show it off.
One of the guitarists I played in a cover band with 15 years ago (my gosh, has it really been that long??) was more blues oriented. We picked songs which favored his style - stuff like Steve Ray Vaughn - and then songs which favored our other guitartist style (which was more rock oriented). They really complemented each other which was good because both were extremely talented players. That's a lot of money to spend on something you're just going to "tinker" with....

I feel like we've done this before but oh well here goes, again
I've been playing guitar for i guess over 20 years now
i play mainly a gibson les paul custom, black gold hardware that's not gold anymore (I bought it from a friend back in 89 for $400, I will never part with it, it's 57 reissue in 1981) last year i replaced my pickups. I also have a fender telecaster black, guild acoustic dont know the model.
Also, i have a fender j/p bass that is super sweet and mesa boogie 400+ amp with a peavy 4 x 10 cabinet. I can't bring myself to get rid of this head though i'll never be able to play it anywhere cause it's just a power house.
I've also had various Marshall and Fender full and half stacks.
I have now relegated myself to the fact that I won't be playing outside venues or rock n roll clubs that require lots of power so i unloaded all my big amps and got this one
Marshall MG30DFX around $200 i thinnk i got it on sale
here are my axes (well not exact)
I can also hold my own on the drum kit as well as play the harmonica, gut bucket, ukele, canjoe, and a little claw hammer style banjo.

I'll have to email the guitarist from my old band and see if he's got our original song so I can post it.

I've recorded 10 or 11 songs on a 4 track recorder. Quality isn't very good, but if I can get them over to the computer I'll post something. No promises though. I bet only 5 people other than me have heard most of it.

You're certainly not an 'idiot' for posting your music. You're just the only one who was smart enough to digitally record it. All I have are cassettes stuffed in a drawer of anything we ever did.
I do have some small riffs on the computer that I saved years ago, but they certainly aren't worth attaching....even if I knew how.

When I said "idiot" I just meant I didn't want it to look like I was bragging or anything. I know most people don't listen to my style of music, which is one of the reasons why I stopped trying to pursue it.
About 10 years ago, I had to pay a studio around $1000 to transfer the music from my keyboard to a DAT (digital audio tape). They then mailed the DAT to a company called Disk Makers in Pennsylvania and they created the CDs. Supposedly, it's a whole lot easier now. Whenever I buy my next computer, I'm going to make sure I get an upgraded sound card that will let me record to my computer easily. I don't play that much anymore, but I'm sure a lot of people that record music use their computers now which is why I figured a "Share Your Music" thread was a good idea.
