Is it just a coincidence that he managed to walk himself to the exact place his new home was being built? That seems strange to me if he had completely lost his entire memory. There must have been a shred of familiarity with the route he took to get there, whether he realized it on the surface or not. The human brain is amazing. Its defense mechanisms are fascinating.

Well, yeah, after I read that, I thought the same thing as well. I mean, the guy had to remember some stuff subconsciously. Well, actually, we know he did because he started remembering things, so the information was there. And I am sure his natural instincts took him to where he was familiar with stuff.

Mike Phillips, a construction foreman, spotted a man wandering close to the site where Bieger was having a new home built. Phillips thought the man might be Bieger, but he couldn't be sure.
I interpreted this to mean that he was wondering close to where this guy was working on his future home.

I think this just goes to show how little we understand of the inner workings of the mind. Something caused him to lose all memory, but something else in there may have spurred him in the direction of his new house. The mind is a really, really mysterious thing.
