Mannequin fetish lands Michigan man in prison -- again

Associated Press

PONTIAC, Mich. — A man who acknowledged a sexual fetish for female-shaped mannequins was sentenced today to more than a year in prison after repeatedly breaking into storefront windows.

Ronald Dotson, 39, of Detroit, was sentenced to 18 months to 30 years on charges of breaking and entering and being a habitual criminal.

He was arrested in October after police in the Detroit suburb of Royal Oak spotted him near a smashed storefront window containing a mannequin wearing a French maid outfit.

The arrest came less than a week after he had been paroled for his sixth breaking-and-entering conviction in 13 years.

Some of the previous cases also involved mannequins. Police once found him in an alley behind a women's clothing store with three mannequins dressed in lingerie.

"I've never been able to take care of myself," Dotson told Judge Denise Langford Morris at sentencing.

Morris acknowledged that Dotson had never assaulted a person but said his behavior "strikes fear in the community."

When I was 13-14 years old I used to volunteer at Red Cross and they used hundreds of those mannequins for classes. Walking into a room full of em always used to creep me out.

"Let em say were crazy, I dont care about that
Put your hand in my hand baby
Dont ever look back
Let the world around us just fall apart
Baby we can make it if were heart to heart

And we can build this dream together
Standing strong forever
Nothings gonna stop us now
And if this world runs out of lovers
Well still have each other
Nothings gonna stop us, nothings gonna stop us now"

Yeah I just started playing it again. The CD was lost for 2 years until I found it deeeeeeeep inside my infamous "Top drawer."

I tell you some of the Korean dudes who play it are sick good. It's like a sport over there, you can even watch games on TV with commentators and everything. Pretty crazy. The finals can get upwards of 100,000 people attending matches all watching on big screens even outside! All this over a computer game that’s nearly 10 years old. Amazing what a success the game was.

Anyway don't mind me... now go back to mannequin talk.

I don't know, but if they are, would'nt they have to make the female mannequins go to the female prison? :-?

Might not be such a sweet deal. :-B
