the money is a huge amount but its really fun we do a live draft and have all the food paid for. plus we do a paid site so its worth the price. There are 14 teams and i pretty much know all the owners so its not like its some random people. i would do a 40-50 league to but there are none around me.

i would try it if it were a free league...

imagine the interesting trades... you could be trading midyear draft picks to jockey for the best possible 2 keepers

hmmm, we have a paid site, a live draft with all the food paid for and prizes for the top teams... I know all the 10 owners and it's a VERY competitive league too... and our buy-in is $20... seems like you're overpaying for those things O:-)

I really don'y like that idea. I agree, I don't think it's fair for people who do there homework and no when and where they are going to pick there players or what they are going to do if the player they need\want gets snatched up right before there pick. I don't like it :-t
A win next week and all is forgotten.

Sounds pretty stupid to me. Why would you want to do that?

I'd pretty sure the payout in his league is somewhere around 20-times the payout in your league though treat - just because $500 for a FF league is a lot for some doesn't mean it's "overpriced" for those who are in it...

so is it in your interst to tank the first draft knowing that you'll be rewarded w/ a high draft pick in the re-draft? I don't like this one bit.

There's too many ways to take advantage of that. And actually a good drafter would have an advantage over a poorer drafter.

Do well in the first draft and get ALOT of high cieling guys. Make sure your team only wins about 2 or 3 of the first 6 games (of course that would be tanking). Then you will have a decently high draft pick with already 2 great keepers to squeek into the playoffs and win with a dominating playoff team.

I've been in alot of "different" leagues, but never one like this. Nor would I ever be.

Thanks GP!!
