If you're talking about Todd Johnson the guy is a backup safety. He's OK but I can't see his departure being that big of a problem, I would think someone of equal caliber would be pretty easy to find.

What about Tank Johnson? I wouldn't know if he is still under contract, but he would have a bigger impact.
And according to Rotoworld, the Bears are gonna franchise Briggs.

I think he is a FA but were suppose to sign him, not exactly sure though.
I've also heard that Briggs will be franchised.
