A spokesman for the international division of animal death investigations of america (IDADIA) just released the following statement...

"Despite originally announcements that the death of Barbaro was due to euthinization (sic), we here at IDADIA have determined the true cause of death. It is now apparent that Barbaro was heading to Miami for superbowl XLI when he was mauled by a Bear. While this has absolutely nothing to do with the crime, the Bear was a Blue and Orange colored bear. The Colt stood no chance against the Bear. The entire ordeal took about 60 minutes, but for some reason the 2 stopped fighting while commercials aired on a nearby tv. About halfway through the mauling that was taking place, Prince showed up and began singing an awful song. We should all mourn the death of the colt, but at the same time we all stand in awe of the physical specimen that is this great Bear. The poor Colt stood no chance. Thank you"

In a surprise turn of events though just when it looked like the Colt was no more, the Colt's Jockey Peyton Manning picked the Colt up on his shoulders and single handedly demolished the bear with his "laser rocket arm"

All the while, a group of skinny, pathetic lions congregated nearby to watch the match. Sadly, those Lions new that they would never get the chance to experience what the Bear and the Colt were going through.
