I've been unable to make many sigs lately. I have however been reading a lot of tutorials and am trying to improve my work. Here is one I worked on this afternoon. Please share your thoughts...

Interesting look.I like the subject too!!Is there a tutorial on how to make part of the pic black ans white and part color?I played with that Idea on one of my sigs but I didn't like the outcome.

Very cool I like the selective coloring, makes for a very cool effect. It would be a shame for someone not to wear that around the cafe

I'm not a very good instructor, but here is what i did...

Duplicated my render
Hit Ctrl U -Hue/Saturation-
Desaturated duplicated render
Went to Layer>Add Layer Mask>Reveal All
Brushed the areas I wanted to be color with a white brush
*A black brush will erase any errors you make*

That sounds WAY easier than the way I did it.....I made a copy of the render...Took the color out.saved it to my desktop....Closed the copy I made...opened the black and white one I saved.cut the parts I wanted to be black and white out...next I dragged the black and white parts over to the origional and moved them with the nudge tool until they matched up...then I saved the new render to my comp , closed the origional and re opened the changed pic...And then I added it to my sig.....It took me forever and I was only doing it with half of my driver.(Dale Jarrett)

Why would you save it only to open it back up? You can drag layers from one document to another. Saves a lot of time.

Yeah I figured that out after the fact.When I didnt save it first and I tried to add the black and white to the color it always changed the whole thing back to color on me.
