Has anyone mentioned Drew Brees? He would follow the pattern of past coverboys. Proven ProBowler, just had best season, humanitarian, hasn't been over-marketed yet, etc...

I could certainly see Drew Brees being the new cover boy, If Peyton's price is too high. I don't know, I just have a feeling that they will go with someone on defense this year, yeah defense got hit stick a couple years ago but I think DBs need some love. We'll see.

That LT report did seem like it was a little earlier than normal... :-b

It'll probably be a WR cause there hasn't been one for a while. My bet goes to either Harrison or Wayne.

Peyton
Bob Sanders
Brian Urlacher
Marvin Harrison
Chad Johnson

lets start odds that it is one of those. It's not going to be LT, they wont have a RB on it 2 years in a row.

You gotta put Brett Favre in the mix as well for reasons that are VERY obvious. :-b

If they put Favre on the cover I may retire from madden... or maybe i'll stick around for a few more years. Whichever the case, i'll make sure to let everyone know at the last minute :-b

I'm almost certain that Peyton Manning will be on the cover. Guy who is known to choke in the playoffs finally gets his Super Bowl, possibly best QB statistically of all time, media favorite, etc. etc.
