Just a technical question on RFAs, if anyone knows the answer (a link would be even better).
In the case where a team makes an offer to an RFA, and their original team declines to match the offer, the original team receives compensation in the form of a draft pick/picks. So lets say a player gets the first round tender (it's 1.8 Million this year I believe), and another team makes makes an offer, and the original team doesn't match.
The question is, what if the team signing the player has multiple draft picks in the first round? Is which draft pick decided by:
a) Which pick was originally the signing team's (before trades)
b) at the signing team's discretion
c) at the original team's discretion
d) another way
Anyone know?
