bengals just gave justin smith the franchise tag. they are still waiting for him to accept it. if he does, it all but eliminates them from a big free agent signing. i love justin smith, but i was hoping we could get a solid cb like asante samuel. was this a good or bad move?

well, AS was franchised by the Patriots, so he's a non-factor. I'm think its a good move for now, we need to have something on the D that is reliable for next season, because we need some serious help.
