Where do you see the Pack in 2007 season?

OK, IM going to make some assumptions on what happens between now and then...

Draft Lynch and let Green go
Cut KGB and pick up Thomas to play DE
Pick up a vet WR to play in the slot
Draft a WR on day 1
Draft a Saftey on Day 1
Add a TE through free agency

If all that happens, how do you see the Pack doing next season.

I could see them going 9-7 and getting a wild card spot. The O Line looked better as last year went on, which should improve the running game. If they can add a TE and a vet WR, that helps the passing game alot.

with the assumptions i made above, the only issue I dont think was addressed was the need for a big run stopper at DT

any thoughts?

I would say we already have that run stopper in Ryan PIckett. He's been great so far. I don't think we'll make such drastic changes, but making the wild card might happen even if we don't sign anyone big in FA or even draft a first year stud.

Seriously, though, they have to do something at safety. And they have to either retain Green or UPGRADE at that position. They can't just grab the cheapest person they can find. Aside from that, I think anything else they do would be a bonus.

Right on. I feel the same way about Rhodes. Neither of those guys is the answer.

The scary part, though, is McCarthy was Barlow's OC in San Fran when he was getting far more playing time than he probably deserved.
