Where I saw it, the movie wasn't in 3D.

yeah no 3D... funny thing is, Tiki and I would have gone to the same IMAX most likely... but it wasn't a date... I don't even think I saw him there :) I think he's making it up! J/K

I was a little dissappointed with the movie. It was still pretty good, but not all it was hyped up to be.

Yeah, it isn't in 3D in IMAX. Still, it was absolutely incredible in IMAX. It's definitely a movie where the bigger the screen, the better the movie. I liked it a lot. ;-D

I kind of agree, the battle scenes were AWESOME, especially the first one where they slow it down. And that is what I went for but, outside of that, it was average at best. Oh and I could tell that the shifty guy (McNulty from "The Wire"!) was gonna tap Leonidas' wife the second he appeared on the screen.

Finally got around to seeing this movie and I loved it! Some people complain about the over-the-top visuals and the fact that it didnt look real but that was not the point or direction of the movie, IMO. If they wanted it to looks 100 real, then they wouldn't have had monsters fighting in the Persian army. I think the movie hit the nail on the head in terms of acting, special effects, and killer fight scenes. Sorta had a matrix feel to them also. Recommended ;-D ;-D
