San Diego wants the Jets to give up a 1st and 3rd rounder for Turner. I think that is to much, but the guy is averaging 5.8_ yards a carry. He is fresh aswell. He has been LdT's backup for a few years now.

What do you guys think?

I don't think they should do it. As good as Turner is, the Jets have 2 very capable rb's. They would be giving up too much. IMO

The thing is, they still have 2 second round picks were they can work on there defense and they also have around $28 million to spend on players. They might get Clement, Adalius Thomas, and they can still draft a NT with there early second rounder and then work on another position with there late second rounder.

A 1st and 3rd is too much. There are other options out there for us that are not as costly.

I just heard a rumour that would send:

Vilma and our 25th pick for Betts and Washington's 6th pick.

That was in the papers earlier in the week. No truth to that rumor since the Redskins just signed London Fletcher to fill their MLB position.

I DON'T want them to trade Vilma. I don't care who we get back. :-o
