1C - Year Three and On- Rounds 1 through 5 conducted NFL style based on reverse standings order from previous year.

So, I vote for blind bid and don't care about how much money anyone gets to bid.

We used blind bid for Regular Season FA pickups in one of my leagues and it was pretty cool.


Still, before going thumbs up, I need to know what we are doing with FAs and discontinued teams players during the off season. If we are going to have a pre-season redistribution draft for the 2 disc teams players and then a rookie/FA draft before the season with everyone else, then i am good to do with the Regular Season blind bidding for FAs.

Since they are now free agents, every player goes into the rookie/FA draft together, one draft only.

How many rounds is this draft and is it serpentine or nfl style?

And, does everyone get the same total dollars to spend on FAs or do the worse teams get a little bit more than the best teams in the blind bid FA process/

Draft is 5 rounds and like most rookie/FA drafts it's NFL format (non-snaking).

Everyone gets the same amount of money. As mentioned previously, you can bid $0 - that actually works well when it's the pre-season and you're not bidding on 1st stringers - you can put in a whole bunch of bids and end up with some freebies (but then someone may bid $1 and win!).

I really had a nice team in place, so even though I left at least my team wasn't complete crap. Not sure which guys you picked, I'll have to go and check, I was just lacking tons of depth but viewing starters I was pretty set. I think I was starting 2 RB's and 3 WR's all season and missing 1 flex position every week though

Which team is that? The team i did own, or the team I picked up? I'm probably gonna make a million trades(or at least offers sent out) before the season lol.

I kinda like the idea of 2 RB's, 3 WR's and a flex. I'm just curious(as I've already pm'd stomper about this), if we go with 10 teams, what's the likely way to handle the 2 odd teams out and the players on them? One big raffle draft where we shuffle order like a
FA draft or what? Not really sure.

I looked over your team and its stacked pretty good. You should contend right off the bat

After a trade I have finalized with aaawall and another possibility I should be on your level. The team to beat is aaawalls though. His team is very strong and tons of depth.

I agree - I'm thinkin' maybe we should have a poll to ban aaawall from drafting this season so we can level the playing field!!!

You have $100 budget for the season. Each waiver claim you put a $ amount on, coming from that budget. The person that bids the most gets the player.

You can bid $0 - you get the player if no one else bids.

You can order your bids - for example if you have 2 open spots, you can put 20 players and get the first 2 you bid most on.

I don't know how Flea breaks ties - two people bid the same.

on flea,, the tiebreaker is the waver priority, so if two teams bid nada on a guy, the one with the lower fa priority wins the guy.
at the same time, most times teams who bid their entire bid amount win that prized fa and then just drop out.
