Falcons sign Joe Horn

Postby treat24 » Wed Mar 07, 2007 5:53 pm

(KFFL) ESPNews reports the Atlanta Falcons have agreed to a deal with WR Joe Horn (Saints). Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

do you think Vick might actually be a better passer with a WR that doesn't drop the ball half the time?

Horn only will play half the season anyway.

(P.S. Yes, I am a bitter Saints' fan ... not mad at the Saints, mad at Joe for not trying to help the team by taking a pay cut ... but that is another discussion for another time)

if joe can stay healthy, and that's obviously a big if, it should be a decent signing by the falcons.surprising after seeing him talk so much trash about the falcons last year on HBO to see him sign with them. maybe it was his way of giving the saints a parting shot.

I think that is a quality signing for the falcons. Vick now will have no excuse if he can't complete his passes.

This will prove whether or not Vick can actually be a QB in the NFL or not.

Joe is 35 and on his last legs and cant stay healthy...how is that a good signing? They should have went after a guy like Kevin Curtis or even Stallworth.

Stallworth is just as injury prone as Horn. Curtis would have been a much better signing though. I've always considered him (Curtis) pretty underrated. Any team that signs him will be doing themselves a great service.

But atleast Stallworth still has some potential left and if healthy he can be a star. Horn is just a waste of money at this point.
