wow are the Browns keeping it in the division or what. 1st Steinbach and now lewis.

as a Bengal fan the Browns are starting to worry me. :-o

so does this mean no AP? maybe Calvin instead at 1.3 (or do they have 1.4? who one the coin flip?)

They have 1.3.

I think they might go QB. I don't know if Frye is really there answer. I guess this means no AP 8-o

Cleveland has the #3 and Tampa Bay has the #4. This does make things much more interesting. I think Cleveland will hope that Joe Thomas falls to them at #3. But if not, they may take a stab at Quinn or Calvin or AP(or try to trade down to get more help).

This definitely makes things more interesting because J.Lewis and AP would be a great one-two punch. It will be interesting to see the contract specifics to know if they can dump him easily in a year or two.

Browns won the flip. So CJ is a distinct possibility. I think it's a reasonable possibility that they go with Brady Quinn as well, but who knows what they're going to do here. They could even end up trading down if someone wants to deal up to get CJ or Peterson.

I think they are interested in Troy Smith in the 2nd round. But if Quinn or Russel fall to them they might go qb at 1.3. I dont think they would draft Joe Thomas, since they worked on their line via FA. So IMO it would have to be Calvin or trade down if Quinn and Russel are off the board. wonder how far AP will fall now?

I really don't think AP will fall. I think some team will trade up to draft him.

I still think they should draft AP......Lewis and AP together for a couple years might be just what they need. I'm not sure they're ready to give up on Frye just yet. Even so, how do you pass on a back like AP?

On the other hand, I'm not sure Lewis is the mentoring type either.... :-o

They are both powerbacks so Im not sure if they want that one two punch. most teams go with a "thunder-lightning" approach. Tho you would think the D would take a pounding of a Peterson-Lewis combo and it would give Lewis a couple more good years if he could share the load and get healthy for once. Sounds good to me, but I dont think most NFL teams think like I do :-? :-b

I definitely think the Browns are candidates to trade down and with the talents of Brady Quinn/Joe Thomas, Calvin Johnson, and Adrian Peterson available, there should definitely be teams interested.
