The Dolphins have reportedly signed K Jay Feely to a three-year, $6 million contract. The deal is believed to contain $2.5 million guaranteed.
The Giants will head to training camp with Josh Huston as their starting placekicker and Olindo Mare will be released shortly. Feely led the league in scoring in 2005, then missed just four field-goal tries all last season. His fantasy numbers should only go up in sunny Miami. Mar. 8 - 9:03 am et

I think that's a good thing, they have some character issues on that team. As for the Dolphins, good signing I guess. Mare seemed to lose some of his stuff the past couple of years.

Man, I really think they are going to suck next year. :,-(

They're losing so many players, not really signing anyone, and the one person who should've be fired IMO (Coughlin) got an extension. :-?

Feely has been playing really well the last couple of years. MIA gets a better kicker for a cheaper price. Good deal for them ;-D

Is Josh Hamilton any good (or whatever their backup's name is)? Might they look for a kicker in the draft? (that guy from UCLA?)

Josh Huston. Reportedly the Giants were impressed with him last year and he is the main reason why they were so willing to let Feely walk. I've never seen him and I only know the bits I have read on him but I really don't see how the Giants can afford to draft a kicker. So I bet they bring in a veteran to compete but as of now it looks like it is Huston's job to lose.

Mare's day has come and gone. Certainly not worth anywhere near the money he was due this year. Hopefully this guy can kick on dirt.

And the Giants off-season woes continue. Good move for the Fins, now if only C-Pepp can get healthy their offense could be very productive.
