Rhodes to Raiders

Postby deerayfan072 » Fri Mar 09, 2007 10:47 am

Adam Schefter of NFL Network reports that Rhodes has agreed to terms with the Raiders. The deal is worth $7.5 million over two years. Mike Garafalo of the Newark Star-Ledger suggests that the base value could be lower than that; he says that the contract is worth "up to" $7.5 million.

Dang! I don't think anyone saw that coming.

That bumps Brandon Jacobs value.

Neither is going to have a good year if they don't get some O-Lineman

This is surprising news. I thought that Lamont Jordan was going to have a decent year this year. It makes sense for the Raiders (a novel idea, the Raiders making sense) in that they can now poin two guys in the running game and not have to rely as much on their QB whoever it may be.

Doesn't matter if you have 12 RB if no one is blocking for them

Yeah, I know, but at least you lose MAYBE 3 yards on a run for a really big loss, but what 7-8 on a sack? either way, its not good news, but -3 is better than -8. :-b :-b ;-D
