The Seahawks have signed veteran TE Marcus Pollard, agent Glenn Schwartzman confirmed this morning. Pollard signed a one-year deal about an hour ago. Terms were not immediately available but there is some guaranteed money, which basically means Pollard isn't just coming to camp with the team.

Well, it's not like there was much better available i suppose......this will be a short link but at least we have plenty and plenty of WR's to take the TE's catching role, i dunno about Pollards outside blocking skills, if someone knows they can fill me in.

I say we draft a rook TE in the 2nd and have him startin by week 7 or 8. In the meantime Pollard will fill in and do some short stuff for us or at least get us by.

i dont' know, i like the idea about drafting a TE in the second, but i think pollard could produce this year. he has a couple of nice years, besides a horrible year last year. (but then again who didn't ahve a bad year last year.

if not 2nd at least 3rd. Pollard wont have many year left and toward the end of this year he wont be able to go every down, he's 35 or somthin.

what other needs are we looking for? we could use an all purpose rb for recieving but no way we want to waste our high draft pcik on 1 since it isnt an emergency. We dont need to draft another guard, we have plenty of rooks on our line right now that just need expereince. If anythingm it would have to be a DT.....give me your thoughts bg
