Since 1936, there have been 3 LB's picked #1 overall in the NFL Draft.

Name the 3 LB's, the teams that drafted them, and the years they were drafted.

Time: 2 minutes, 7.65 seconds

bednarik, 49, PHI
nobis, 66, ATL
cousineau, 79, BUF
bruce, 88, ATL

Isn't that four, FJ? I understand Bednarik could count as a Center/Linebacker, but he was a two-way player when he was picked and he did play LB.

Accepted as answer by flotsamnjetsam on Wed Mar 21, 2007 1:43 am EST.

You'll still get credit for the answer if noone else gets it faster. I bought a 2006 NFL Record & Fact book over the weekend to make it easier to look up questions (and answers). It has Bednarik listed as a Center and had a separate list that listed the number of #1 overall picks by position. That list said 3 LB's so I just looked at all the #1 picks listed and found the 3 LB's they had listed. ;-D

No worries, FJ. I knew Bednarik was a two-way player, but I wasn't certain if he counted based on your request.
