Bucs Looking for More O-Line help

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers visited with offensive guard Zach Piller at One Buccaneer Place on Tuesday.

Piller, 30, originally entered the NFL in 1999 as a third-round draft pick out of Florida.

The 6-foot-5, 315-pound Piller has played in 87 career games with 58 starts. When healthy, Piller is considered one of the league’s better interior linemen. However, Piller has had trouble staying healthy, evidenced by the fact that he’s played in just 20 games over the past three seasons. He's also suffered season-ending injuries in two of the past three seasons.

In 2006, Piller’s season ended prematurely due to a severe ankle injury.

Tampa Bay is actively browsing the free agent market in search of offensive linemen, particularly guards and centers. The Bucs lost free agent offensive lineman Sean Mahan to Pittsburgh over the weekend.

In addition to Piller, the Bucs have also expressed interest in Denver free agent G Cooper Carlisle. However, Carlisle is not yet scheduled to visit One Buc Place

i think the only team with a worse line is the Raiders
