The thing is, they already signed Sammy Morris and have Kevin Faulk. RB is not a glaring need for the Pats as much as some defensive replacements are. Word out of NE is that they are looking at Merriweather from Florida (or FSU?).

I know none of these mocks tries to predict trades, but I think Cleveland is a lock to trade down if Joe Thomas is not available and Calvin Johnson is. Cleveland does not particularly need a QB, RB, or WR, but they have a lot of other holes, and everyone "knows" that Johnson won't get past Tampa Bay, so you have to trade up to #3 to get the best prospect in the draft.

All that being said, I still wouldn't be surprised to see Oakland take Calvin Johnson and then target a QB in the second round.

Neither would I and if they really are trading Moss for Rodgers i think they def go CJ
