Sigh, I have him too.....he's been pretty disappointing from my expectations. :-/

I'm blaming his performance on Maddox. With Ward and Burress, I could start at QB for Pittsburgh.....how can this guy be struggling?

Give him another week. Here's hoping that they can fix Maddox during the bye.... :-o

Edit - whoops, forgot the h in Pittsburgh.....don't want fantasyfootball_tx to catch me misspelling something again!

I also have Burress, there is no way im dropping him, they have to turn it around, he has some favorable matchups down the line and I expect him and the Steelers to recover.

I'd hang on to him.
Plex did the same thing last year; a second half player that is. And look at some of the remaining teams the stillers play against: Cards, Clev, Bugles, Raiders, Jets, SD, Baltimorons....

Let it ride my friend

I hope he bounces back.. I just accepted a deal to get him yesterday. I needed some help at WR and I worked out two deals sending McNabb and Gordon to get Plax and Krob respectively.

I definately expect Burress to bounce back - the man was used more and more as the season progressed last year. As long as the Steelers D continues its mediocrity, I think you'll see more looks to Burress. He's a deep threat that should receive the ball more. Teams can't double team him and leave Ward open. However, Burress oweners need Maddox to (metaphorically) pick up the ball he dropped a long time ago and get back on track. The man is flat-out struggling.

His performance depends on Maddox. The bye will help greatly. But all the team needs is 1 big offensive game to get back on track and gain confidence.
QB (1) - Plummer, Leftwich
RB (2) - Alexander, Dunn, Larry Johnson, Ronnie Brown, Stephen Davis
WR (3) - Randy Moss, Andre Johnson, Drew Bennett, Rod Smith, Jason Witten
K - Peterson
D - Carolina
(10 team league, pick #4)
