Could the Bills land Adrian Peterson?

With the signing of Jamal Lewis by Cleveland the possibility is there. Granted it was just a one year deal for Lewis but the possibility remains they draft Quinn.

I would be overjoyed if they managed to land Peterson. I wouldn't mind Marshawn Lynch though either.

They certainly could if they wanted to, but I am not sure what the front office intends to do. Do they address LB or CB first? Do they think A-Train can handle the load and draft a COP back later in the first day? Do they blow their wads early again on good players that could be had farther down? And if they like RB first, who do they like?

I do like what they are doing with the OL and DL (I like the Darwin pick-up).

Like I have said: this is like a person who knows nothing about chess watching a chess match. I have no idea what they are doing, so I'll have to wait until it becomes more obvious.

3 players I believe the Bills will choose from:

CB: Leon Hall
ILB: Patrick Willis
DT: Amobi Okoye

Willis seems like a Levy type of player. Bills go D 1st round and add a RB 2nd round... Kenny Irons maybe.

With that said, if Peterson drops to 12, Bills won't hesitate.

I feel like Okoye is less of a possibility given the trade with Philly and the glaring needs elsewhere. I agree that Willis is the type of player that Levy would like -- same with Paul Posluszny.

And speaking of RBs: Michael Turner is in town today, although it seems like the Titans have the inside track on him. It's an interesting debate as to whether or not you go with a backup with NFL experience or a rookie with upside.

I just can't see Adrian dropping to 12. I actually still believe he will go to Cleveland. jmo
