Spikes to be Traded

Cool, seems like a decent deal to me. Walker hasn't done much for the D-Line in my opinion.

On the other hand, hopefully the D-Line injury problems won't erupt this coming year, since Darwin did play all 16 games last year.

I think this is a great deal for the Eagles.

I dunno about "Steal of the Century", but if Spikes can return to form it would certainly seem to be a good deal for Philly.

I live in Toronto and watch alot of Bills games. Did anyone see Spikes play? He wasn a decent player, but the Steal of the century is a little much. I wouldn't even go so far as to call him good. Usually when something seems too good to be true...it usually is. Spikes career is on the decline big time after that injury.

Anyone a Jays fan here or remember Mike Sirotka? When the Jays got him in a deal he was said to be a great pitcher and they were swindling the White Sox. I'm not even sure if he pitched 20 innings before blowing out his elbow and never pitching again.
So they weren't the best...and may have ended the worst. SO WHAT!

Even better. And we paid him a ton of money to not pitch for us too.

The only good thing about that trade was that it was so lopsided and embarrasing that Gord Ash's firing was accelerated several years.

well he doesn't have to be awesome, he just needs to be solid. the LB spot has been the obvious and glaring weakness for a while with this squad. So in that sense, he helps a lot. Its all relative.
The opening scene of the movie "Saving Private Ryan" is loosely based on games of dodgeball Brian Dawkins played in second grade.

He is HUGE upgrade over what we have, and gives us something we haven't had in a while, a playmaking LB
