Brandon Marshall, a wide receiver for the Denver Broncos, was arrested Monday night for domestic violence and false imprisonment, according to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office.
Douglas County Sheriff’s deputies were sent to the 8500 block of Gold Peak Lane in Highlands Ranch after receiving a report about 10:30 p.m. from a woman about a fight with her boyfriend.

Marshall would not let his girlfriend leave the area, officials said, and he blocked her taxi with his vehicle. The two reportedly had an argument earlier in the day.

Marshall was advised of his charges this morning, and he posted a personal recognizance bond about 2 p.m. today and was released from jail.
