And yes, if you just deleted things from teh recycle bin, even I could go in and recover them in no time at all. It's a VERY easy thing to do, but this program should take care of it all for you.

I used a program called CCleaner to clean out temp files and other similar stuff. Works pretty well and its entirely free.

Wow I just freed up 250megs of temporary internet cache stuff with that CCleaner. Very cool program. ;-D

I don't know much about computers, but I did that CCleaner thing, and a lot of the cookies were from this site. Aren't cookies bad (unless they are the frosted sugar kind, but the computer type cookies are bad, right)?

Cookies are what allow you to remain logged in to websites. They tell the website you have been there before and you want to stay logged in.

So they aren't bad unless they are tracking cookies from some of the bad advertisement websites.

I clear history and temps weekly. Somehow a bunch of crud never got removed though. Maybe it was really old IE stuff from my pre-firefox days or something.
