Congrats DDD on the 1yr anniv. celebration!
It's a real shame this sacred union is not taken as seriously as it is dictated. Even though my wife and I have had our rough spots, it's been the best 11 years of my life thus far.

Its actually pretty baffling to think of how long 80 years would be with the same spouse. I can't even imagine what the world will be like in 80 years.

Me and the wife we outside enjoying the weather the other day and saw an older couple down the street, in their 60s probably, playing basketball. That's awesome.
This is certainly an encouraging story, and I'm glad that it is being shared with the public.
However, I was disgusted that the article featured a cheap shot at President Bush. That kind of ruined the story for me, as it caused me to look at the couple in a different manner.

I wouldn't 'credit' that to the couple, but the writer. I thought it was pretty tacky myself. To include politics into a story about marital bliss and longevity.
