Pen or Pencil?

I used to use pencils for math class, and well.... I hate math. So bye bye pencils.

I also used to buy only them fancy pens filled with gel or something, but then I got sick of them exploding and their cost, so now I just stick with Bics. Also don't have to buy them anymore since I just steal them nowadays.

Pen...but when i was in school pencil...had to be able to erase my mistakes

Mechanical pencil for all things school related.
Pen for signatures.

Pens and I'm picky about them. They have to write just right or else I toss them and use a different one.

I'd take a mechanical pencil over a regular pencil any day of the week if I had to choose between just those two.

Pencil is better for artwork (shading, etc) but I stink at art.

Holy cow, and I thought I was the only one! I'm very particular about the type of pens I use, everything from body style to writeability. I'm OCD about my pens and I don't like anyone using my pens.....it's bizarre I know....

I strictly use mechanical pencils (favoring the PaperMate brand, Clear Point 0.7 at this moment) for my crossword and Sudoku puzzles.

You mean the lead breaks too often? A couple of clicks should be enough lead to write with. My daughter uses one for her school work and clicks 3 - 4 times and then presses so hard she's trying to leave an impression on the table, which eventually leads to lead breakage. I'm still working on that with her.

If you're breaking the actual pencil itself, it would lead one to ask "What the hell are you doing to break a plastic pencil?"....
