So you have a better life than Christians? How is that?

And exactly how do I let someone else think for me? Do tell me how I am doing this, O Wise One. ;-7

Where in my statement did you get that I have a better life than Christians? I honestly cannot see where I said that. Getting a little testy, aren't we?

So you were saying that having “someone else or a book tell you how to live your life” is a better life? I apologize if I misunderstood what you said there. The implication that I read was that someone who doesn’t think for themselves is somehow in a worse way than someone who does think for themselves.

Anyways, I find it amusing that no one has responded to my question. In case you all forgot, I asked how Christians let someone else think for them.

How are Christians letting someone else or a book tell us how to live our lives? We have made the decision to follow a particular way of life. And we get to make those decisions every day. We definitely get our chances to think for ourselves. Same as you really. The difference is consistency. You suggest that you completely think for yourself. So nothing else influences the way you live your life in any way? You completely run the show? Sorry, man, but that's impossible.

My pastor lays out my clothes in the morning and tells me what to eat for breakfast. I have to call for permission if I have to go number 2. I hope that answers your question Knapp.

My response, Omaha, was to your sarcastic reply to my being against organized religion. Let me ask you? Does your "god" and your religion practice tolerance? As in, when someone simply states that they are against organized religion, if you disagree you can have a mature discussion with them, but by mocking them you are aren't following your doctrines? Just curious.

I was baited into this debate and that was my fault for taking the bait.
