Restricted free agent defensive back Randall Gay is scheduled to visit the Jets beginning Monday night and all day Tuesday.

The Patriots used the second-round, $1.3 million tender on Gay, which would surely protect him from being signed to an offer sheet by everyone in the NFL except old defensive coordinator Eric Mangini. Gay would make a lot of sense as a starting cornerback in New York.

If they like Gay better than the CB available in the draft then it would be a good move especially with the two late second round picks we have. Could open up the possibility of taking Olsen in the first round if he's still there.

That would be very interesting, especially since most people seem to think they're looking CB in the 1st round. Man I can't wait for the draft.
