I see the problem and treat was on teh right track before you confused him.
Anyway, don't burn from WMP, burn from iTunes.
Take the songs off your iPod just like you were doing then open iTunes.
Click File>Add File to Library
After you add the songs to burn to the iTunes library, burn the CD through iTunes. WMP can't recognize files taken from an iPod in most cases.
exactly what i was trying to say... maybe i wasn't very clear with it...
I've tried that but the songs won't go into my library in iTunes for some reason.
Well, then the problem is probably in the program you are using to rip teh songs from the iPod. Maybe there is a setting in there for a different file type or something.

WATCH OUT I just used it and I think it killed my iPod. My iPod keeps showing this weird screen and its making all of these humming and clicking sounds.
