to add my two cents on the fett/han thing they did run into each other in one chapter of one book in the NJO series although they did not fight each other and if i remember correctly boba actually helped them but i may be wrong on that account.

Tough call, but Conan is not Ahnold's best character, and Han slightly edges him out.

i went with Conan...and i'm a HUGE Star Wars nerd. i guess i just dont break it down to "gun vs sword" all the time...i like to think of the characters more on a nuetral ground

I don't think Han would have a chance against Bauer with weapons or if it came down to hand to hand. I don't think Conan has much of a chance either but if he gets his mitts on Bauer, Bauer's toast.

Conan gets my vote.

I really agree here. I thought about this one for a while. Solo really is kind of a pansy IMO, while Conan is one of the toughest characters around.

I've been ignoring the "gun vs. sword" aspect too because I tend to think of each battle as a neutral ground, winner-take-all kind of fight. Kind of like Thunderdome, where the weapons are there waiting for you to use them, not necessarily what you happen to have on you when you enter. If it's the latter, Arny's Commando guy would pwn because he has that howitzer.

another way i've been looking at it too, is who is badder in their respecive movies...but yeah, Thunderdome is a good way to look at it too
