Gary - I don't know exactly how you feel here but I do have an inkling, I've got two younger brothers and one of them has been checked into a re-hab centre 3 different times now (alcohol mostly, but the first time he was also a daily pothead and was starting to experiment with coke) including one long-term facility that he has been in since October (they sign up for 3-month terms with a max stay of 3 years or something)...
It's hard having to think about your bro in a facility like that even when it's voluntary - I can only imagine how much worse the situation you are in feels...
Keep your chin up bud, things will hopefully work out in the end once he gets back on his meds...
Wow Gary thats tough man, I know what it's like to have a loved one far away in trouble. You always have that wondering nervous feeling, hopefully the thoughts and prayers of your friends here at the Cafe can help alleviate that feeling a little. You sound like you're doing well but make sure you take care of yourself as well Gary. Sometimes traumatic events can trigger suppressed pain and bad memories, ya know? Keep your chin up and stay strong brother.
