My guess would be these cars aren't in service. They cost way too much to risk in a chase or anything. They're probably like the DARE corvette that drives around town here. More for show. Just cars siezed in drug raids.
The only one I'd say could be in service is the German Porche for the autobahn

I've read an article about the Lambo the Italians have. They use it on their northern border to catch speeders and whatnot. I also remember reading an article some years back about the US Border Patrol using Corvettes to chase down drug smugglers on the US-Mexico border.
Not as flashy as a European exotic or even a Corvette, but the Illinois State Troopers use unmarked Camaros and Firebirds to catch speeders on the interstate. My friend got pulled over by one when he thought the Camaro pacing him in the left lane wanted to race.
The cake is a lie.
