I haven't heard much yet about the game, but it is supposed to come out on all platforms on August 14th.

I hope it sucks a lot less than 07 did. If there is no fantasy draft and player editing for the 360 version I am going to kill someone at EA.

Yeah, it sucked big time on 360. That was the only platform it was just hideous in though. The rest were pretty good. ;-D

I am hoping for better control over non-ball handling players especially WR's.

The big thing is I can't wait to see what they did with it for Wii. something tells me that I will be buying this and a Wii on August 14. }:-)

No madden on regular xbox this year :-o

One minor thing that I want to see added is the screen behind the field goal posts. I know its small but not having it on the 360 annoyed me.

I just got a 360 last November and never played 07 on the 360. Judging by the posts above, I'm glad I never bought it.

Basically they just didn't put hardly any features in it. It still felt too bare bones.

Yeah, a lot of the sports games that came out last year weren't as good as expected. I'm sure that was a wake up call for the designers though, so I'm sure Madden and other sports games will be better this year.

EDIT: Sports games on the 360 is what I mean.
