Well actually the parents were fine with the dresses, it was the school that said no.

As was said, seems some pre-prom guidelines should have been in place.
I am about to shop a prom dress later than next month for the prom and was thinking after reading these post, they would be able to turn me away at the door. However, it may don't happen if only parents as well as their daughters know the true responsibility from the world reveling. It is too fancy to wear the inappropriate dresses, instead be conscious to yourself and wear the right prom dress for less offense.
