I have a $30 a day habit. I also have a gift card that my GF keeps filling for me. ;-D

yep i love the hell outta starbucks. (the only thing i wish is they had the peppermint mocha all year long.)

Congrats, bro. One of my very first jobs was working as a barista at Starbucks. Better get used to smelling like espresso, man. You'll learn to hate that smell in time. :-b

Congratulations, I suppose, on your new position.

As someone who didn't have the option of working at Starbucks for his first job (They weren't east coast at that time), let me offer you some friendly advice that you won't understand for far too long.

Quit now before you start.

Leach off your parents for several more years.

Trust me, you have many more years ahead of you for work. Why work now while you're young? Go out and have a good time.

Because my family doesnt have enough money for me to go to college so i need to pay for it myself :\ I didnt mean to sound mean there, its just that i need the money.

So today was my first day and it was alright. spent about an hour filling out paperwork, then spent the other 3 hours reading about all the stuff they'll be teaching me. it was really boring but i learned quite a bit.

I put myself through college, too. Heed this advice, though, and take time for yourself once college is done.
