Opinions please on this scoring system .. thx

Thanks to those who gave me a lot of help and useful advise in the previous scoring system I came up with. I've used the advise in coming up w/ this system and any opinions on this scoring system is greatly appreciated .... (I made sure to incorporate the 2.5X ratio for QB to RB yardage this time)

(passing)QB: 0-99=0pts, 100-124=1pt, 125-174=2pts, 175-199=3pts, 200-224=4pts, etc.

(rushing)RB: 0-49=0pts, 50-69=2pt, 70-79=3pts, 80-89=4pts, etc.

(receiving)WR/TE 0-19=0pts, 20-39=1pts, 40-59=2pts, 60-69=3pts, 70-79=4pts, 80-89=5pts, etc

(receiving)RB: 1pt for every 20yards

Basically, the point of this is to slightly reduce the advantage that RBs have(rushing & receiving), slightly increase the importance of WR/TE, and reward higher yardage totals by making the yard increments smaller at the higher yards (to accomodate owners that want bonus points).

It's not bad, but did you put it to the test yet? I use cbssportsline.com, and it allows me to test my scoring system. If you're determined to tweek the scoring to lessen the impact of RB and increase the impact of WR/TE, put some average numbers for each position into the test.

A solid game for a QB is 250 yards, 2 TD's
A comparable solid game for a RB is 125 yards, 1 TD, with 3 catches for 25 yards
A comparable solid game for a WR is 5 catches for 100 yards, 1 TD
A comparable solid game for a TE is 4 catches for 70 yards, 1 TD

I don't like it. I don't think someone rushing for 79 yards should only get 1 more point than someone rushing for 50yds.

fractional scoring is best.

Personally I don't think scoring greatly affects positional scarcity
