Top 10 RBs to date... Who woulda thought?

Postby KingGhidra » Fri Oct 17, 2003 2:44 pm

All RBs played in 5 games except where denoted with a *.

1. Ahman Green*
2. Priest Holmes *
3. Jamal Lewis
4. Ricky Williams
5. Stephen Davis
6. Fred Taylor *
7. Deuce McAllister *
8. Clinton Portis
9. LaDainian Tomlinson
10. Travis Henry *

Who woulda thought Jamal Lewis would be 3rd behind Priest and Ahman having played one less game?

Who woulda thought Stephen Davis would be 5th overall?

Who woulda thought Fred Taylor would be healthy this far into the season and ahead of Deuce McAllister, Clinton Portis and LT?

How much different will this list be in week 12?

I'm gambling on it being a lot different by week 12. At least one of the top 5 will be injured by then. Plus, Shaun Alexander is going to get his groove on and move into the rankings. LT will move up some, too, now that Boston has proven that he is there for balance.

I think this list will have a complety different look by week 12. My personal predictions..

Big names which might (most likely) make into this list Shaun Alexander, Tiki Barber.

Big names which might drop (most likely) from the list :
Stephen Davis, Travis Henry.

Sleepers that might sneak in : Pittman, Moe Williams

Rookie with the best chance : Larry Johnson.
