Eating 500 tacos would take a while :-b

BRIGHAM CITY, Utah (AP) - Crime-solving doesn't get much spicier than this.

The owner of a Mexican restaurant is offering 500 tacos for information that leads to the arrest of the person who stole about $3,000.

"We're offering a food reward because all the cash got taken," said Joe Cottam, owner of Melina's Fine Mexican Restaurant.

Someone broke through a glass door and stole cash and cheques that had been prepared for deposit, said Cottam, who discovered the theft April 24.

The tasty reward is worth about $1,200, he said.

thats probably b/c they're charging $2.40 per taco!

side note: did anyone see that Wheel of Fortune where the puzzle was basically down to ALL Y_U CAN _AT TAC_ BAR and they guessed "ALL YOU CAN EAT TACE BAR"?

I'm not surprised that's all they had. The restaurant business is notoriously hard to make money in because of the number of competitors. You make most of your money on alcohol and beverages, and I would imagine that this restaurant didn't sell as much alcohol as others of its ilk, since it is in Utah.
