I find it bizarre and distasteful that you erased Batman's fake rubber nipple to prove a point.

OK guys, I took the liberty of running a very professional battle simulation between these very capable candidates.

The first battle was so embarrasing that I don't dare show it here. It was in Gotham City and Batman absolutely killed Max.

So I changed the location to a neutral field. No luck. It only slowed down Maximus' death by 3.7 seconds, increasing it to 12.4 seconds.

So after deliberating on how to proceed and after a couple of tries, I finally came up with one competitive enough to show all of you. I moved the battle to Maximus' home court and I changed Batman to the pre-Batman Bruce Wayne. It is still a very scary and brutal battle, but Batman comes out on top without too bad of a showing. So I don't think there is any argument that Batman would absolutely put the beat down on Maximus no questions asked.
