Spiderman 3 - So, Venom, the Hobgoblin, and Sandman all in one movie? Is this going to be 6-8 hours long? Venom's story alone could and should be an entire movie. Casting choices aside, I think they're cramming way too much into 1 film, and a cursory job is not what I'm looking for.
it's Green Goblin II...not Hobgoblin

This is the only movie franchise that got progressively better with each film. 1 was a very childish tale, good family film, but kinda boring to an adult, 2 got a little more serious and showed some promise, 3 and 4 really grew up the story, and made this very much no longer a children's movie. Great cast, great adaptations, and no signs of getting worse, in fact the opposite.
hardcore potter fans aren't much of a fan of the 3rd movie. They got rid of that director and 4 was much better and much closer. I expect good things from 5

I actually liked the 3rd one the best. I thought Alfonso Cuarón did a great job with the new look and the pacing wasn't all that bad considering he had a whole lot more book to fit in than the first two movies. Mike Newell carried over a bit of the style from the 3rd, but the 4th movie was just too rushed IMO, probably because the 4th book was so long.
spiderman 3 sucked. don't waste your time or money. i have never wanted to walk out on a film so many times. brutal. i am not a huge spiderman fan to begin with. but this was an awful movie. not just bad for spiderman. just plain bad.

AVP was neutered into a PG-13 crapfest and RE movies have deviated entirely from the games. I've no idea why such crap movies keep getting sequels.
Because there are enough fanboys out there that the flick will at least do OK at the box office and it will do better than most in DVD sales. And then you can time a new video game release to it and everyone involved makes a bunch of money.
