Just curious, with Stevens gone, is Itula the starting TE now?

No Mili isn't even on the roster.

Marcus Pollard should be the starter without much of a fight. Will Heller will be second string and be used mostly as a blocker and special teams.

But it looks like Pollard will be the #1 TE. From a fantasy standpoint, I would expect numbers a little shy of Stevens last year.

Remember Stevens was hurt for part of the year. Are you saying Pollard will put up similar numbers to a hurt Stevens or a healthy Stevens.

I guess in the middle of the two...I would probably guess 400 yrds / 4 TD

I dont like our situation, we are forced to make our #1 TE a washed up(well age wise) guy for the entire season without any young competition behind him.

If Pollard gets hurt(wouldnt surprise me at his age and past years) we will be forced to start Heller, who is more of a FB at TE than a WR at TE, he is a blocker and cant catch or run routes very successful.

Having Pollard the #1 is one thing, but not having any true youth behind him for our future scares me even more.

This was the year to draft a TE, because the draft pick would have a year to get use to the system and only a limited number of snaps....pretty much a year to work him in and then start him next year, now we are looking at drafting a TE next year which means unless we pull a trade off for a TE, we will have Pollard as our undisputed #1 next year.

I just dont like the fact our TE spot is going to be limited in the passing game and yet we shipped off our #1 wr too.
