Dolphins quarterback Daunte Culpepper practiced on a limited basis Friday and told the Associated Press he's certain he'll be able to take part in the Dolphins' minicamp in June. "It's small steps right now," he said. "I feel good. No real pain, which is a good sign. I just want to ease my way into it."

Our View
Culpepper is a long way from being able to quarterback a professional football team, but it is encouraging that he believes he isn't in any pain following practice.

06/07 Dolphins: Culpepper decision coming quickly
The News
On the same day Trent Green passed his physical and was officially introduced as the Dolphins new starting quarterback, it appeared Daunte Culpepper will be either traded or released before this weekend's minicamp. According to the Miami Herald, the team is concerned Culpepper could sustain an injury during minicamp, which would leave the Dolphins on the hook for his $5.5 million salary next season.
