Tim Tebow can't run any offensive system in the nation. But Colt Brennan can. Or at least that's what June Jones thinks. Brennan would run that WVU offense perfectly.

Pretty sure Jones thinks Brennan is more suited for a wider variety of offensive systems, *hint* more pro style offenses. Jones has his chance to showcase against UF next year. Too bad Brennan won't be around to face Tebow. For shame...
Well, on the eve of the heisman there is some interesting info coming out with a lot of the votes already reported.
I don't know how many people are familiar with http://www.stiffarmtrophy.com/, but while they're new in the heisman projections game their resume so far has been pretty good. They're 5 for 5 so far, but the real impressive thing is that they've never been wrong about the total number of votes for the player by more than 5% (and that came in their first year).
That said, they project Tebow to take home the award easily with the 8th highest percentage of total possible points of all time. Even if they were at their worst (off by 5%), that would still leave their projection with him having the 10th highest percentage of all time. Further, they go on to say that this is the year they expect to have their lowest margin of errors since they have more data than they've ever had to work with in the past (with 539 of 925 votes "reported").
It should go to Kevin Smith, but it won't. Tebow will win it with his inflated numbers and 3 losses, he definitely doesn't deserve it. Yawn and wait for next year.
EDIT: 20/20 club, hah, not hard to get 20 rushing TDs when your name is called every time it's inside the 5.

You make no sense. Tebow with his inflated numbers and his 3 losses "definitely doesn't deserve it", so instead it should go to Kevin Smith with his inflated numbers and his 3 losses? Lol.
Tebow's touchdowns came easy because his name is called every time inside the 5, and Kevin Smith's isn't? Lol x2. UCF had almost twice as many rushing attempts as they did pass attempts this year.
I'll be the first to admit I've seen very little of Kevin Smith this year. He beat the pants off the patsies out there and played two games against BCS conference teams. He played very well against one (Texas) and sucked hard against the other (USF).
If you only play two real teams all year you can't suck against one of them. Especially when the guy you're comparing him too played these type of teams every week and never failed to put up gaudy numbers a single time all year. Kind of coincidental that Smith was totally awesome against all 10 out of 10 of those high school teams but couldn't even get it done two out of two times against real teams, isn't it?
I mean, I could maybe understand your points if you were arguing for say, Todd Boeckman who has 1 loss and uncomparable stats. But even you have to kind of funny that you rip on Tebow for having inflated stats and 3 losses and then pick a guy who fits exactly the same description, only with his inflated stats coming against much weaker opponents.

only 3 or 4 of his 20 rush TD's came from 5 yards and in...

Kevin Smith huh? You point out Tebow's 3 losses...Smiths team has lost 3 as well. And the quality of the competition for Smith isn't even comparable to Tebow's. The combined records of the teams Smith has faced is 62-70, the combined records of the teams Tebow has faced is 89-58. Inflated numbers huh? Smith plays football in Conference USA...hes running on teams like North Carolina State, Louisiana-Lafayette, UTEP....SMU......UAB? Are you kidding me? Rushing and scoring on trash teams like that...yeah I'd say Smiths numbers are the inflated ones.
Funny how you laugh at the 20/20 club since Tebow is the only member.

7 of Tebow's 22 rushing TDs came from 6 yards or further out. 6 of McFadden's 15 came from 6 yards or further out.
