elliptical machines are good for burning fat. if you're just looking to shed lbs, mainly focus on cardio stuff. if you are simultaneously trying to tone, it's all pretty self explanatory. pull ups, some bicep curls, push ups, squats, leg thrusts, military presses. i am sure you can find somewhere that will explain good work outs and what muscle groups are worked out with each exercise. i'll look, because i don't know any sites off the top of my head.

We should have a Cafe Weight Loss challenge. Not a contest, but a thread where we encourage each other in our weight loss goals. Everyone sets their goal and we do our damnedest to actually get there. Me, I'm no happier being big this year than I was last year when I started that thread, but I've been too lazy/unmotivated/busy to actually do something about it.
Its not really a plan, but I lost 55 pounds about 2 years ago. All I did was eat less, less often and some better food. I didn't run or walk too much more than usual and I didn't go to the gym at all. It worked for me and it only took 1 year to lose the 55 pounds.

If I joined, my goal would be to gain about 20 pounds.
I am all the way down to 160-165. I HAVE to start working out.

Yeah, but I am getting too dang skinny. I need to put on some mass. Just have to make sure I keep on working out.
