yeah classroom size and student teacher ratio are the biggest thing, right now I am averaging 31 students per class! In most private schools they keep it under 24! Thats a huge difference.

we don't know for sure what exactly the threat was, all we know is that it was on a bathroom wall and was either bomb or gun related. (duh)

Pretty Scary. And unfortunately I can see more of this becoming the way of our world. I have 2 words for the future. Home Schooling.

Don't get me started on Home Schooling!!! I mean really if you are willing to home school your kids, why don't you home dentist and home doctor your kids as well.

Are you actually comparing what goes on in public school classrooms to medicine?

Babysitting... That's all it is...

If it were not for the fact that our economy has become dependent on the two-income household, the internet would have done away with the public school system a long time ago...

Bomb threats are a weekly occurance at my school. Last week we had a pepper spray raid by someone who didn't even go to my school. They evacuated and sent us home.

Babysitting? Glorified Babysitter? Yeah I have heard it all...and it usually comes from those who are quick to point at the public school system in the country and then vote against levies and have no clue how to 'fix' the problems.

You are right lets homeschool everyone. Spread ignorance from generation to generation.
