Well it's still on season 6 and I haven't seen the season finale as I'm living in England and it hasn't been shown yet . However, i do find some of the twists a bit 'far fetched' as one put it, I mean how his father is trying once again to kill his relatives is just plain weird. The most insane part was how that dude just killed Milo on the spot in front of Nadia, it almost made me wanna cry...
I've only been watching for 2 seasons, but I thought Season 5 was much better than Season 6. 6 had too many weird and annoying plot twists and just didn't feel right. Still an ok season, though.
It's inevitable that a show like 24 jump the shark at some point. Honestly, how often can the same crap happen to the same guy? It's like the Die Hard concept. John McClane gets into a brawl to save humanity in every film. You mean to tell me he always finds the worst trouble everywhere he goes?
